Bridget Brink(Bloomberg) -- US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink is stepping down after three years as the top US representative in Kyiv, State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said Thursday. Brink was nominated by former President Joe Biden and took the role in 2022, months after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Her departure will leave a gap as the Trump administration seeks to broker a deal for a ceasefire and eventual peace in Ukraine.
