    成群的蝴蝶一碰便飛散開來、腳底下的爬蟲類蜿蜒爬行著,以及彷彿置身在另一個宇宙的空間裡⸺這些只是全新的「teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi」裡讓人驚喜又嘖嘖稱奇的一部分。這座全新藝術空間將於4月18日於薩迪亞特文化區正式開幕。來自東京的國際藝術團隊繼去年六月在吉達(Jeddah)開設「teamLab Borderless」之後,這是他們在中東的第二個據點。 這次在阿布達比(Abu Dhabi)打造的藝術場館更是teamLab目前為止最大規模的沈浸式美術館,佔地達1.7萬平方公尺,整個空間被各種數位藝術作品佔據,觀眾與作品的每一個互動都會即時改變作品的呈現。 這棟建築由teamLab自家的建築團隊與阿布達比當地的MZ Architects聯手設計,整體輪廓看起來有點像是沒有固定形狀的有機生物,流線的設計讓人十分好奇裡面的模樣。曾造訪過teamLab在吉達、東京或世界各地場館的粉絲們,或許會對阿布達比展出的某些作品元素感到熟悉。不過這些創作都是短暫、結合多重感官的互動性作品,因此每一次的體驗都是獨一無二。 teamLab的傳播總監工藤岳(Takashi...

Opening on 18 April in the Saadiyat Cultural District, this is the second Middle East outpost for the Tokyo-based international art collective after teamLab Borderless opened in Jeddah last June.

    There’s still time to catch the Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial, running until April 30 across Abu Dhabi’s downtown area and Al Ain. With some 80 works of public art by 56 artists, the majority commissioned specifically for the biennial, are spread across an urban area that includes Abu Dhabi’s eight-kilometre Corniche, 500,000 square metres of public parks, the Abu Dhabi Carpet Souq and the city’s Modernist central bus terminal.
