Lutton has found opportunities for personal growth, taking on leadership roles and becoming more outgoing. Pertner rediscovered his love for hockey, having walked away from the sport after high school. They’ve found community, support and friendship. And they found each other.

    We hope everyone enjoyed their one PWHL-free week, because there's no rest for the weary as expansion means we head straight into offseason hot stove time. Team protected lists are due to the league by Tuesday at 12 PM Eastern. Expansion teams have a five-day exclusive signing window that starts Wednesday, June 4 at 9 AM Eastern and ends Sunday, June 8 at 5 PM Eastern. The can sign a maximum of five players in that window and there is no required minimum.
