    Chapman Dance Alliance (CDA) brought the “Club classics” to Chapman at its fall show. CDA, a student-led organization uniting dancers across different majors and dance groups, hosted its annual showcase with two productions on Nov. 1 and 2. This show — which was themed “Club classics,” a play on the popular song by Charli xcx — featured performances from dance majors and non-dance majors in CDA, The Stilettos, Team Shaka, Floor 13, co.lab, C.U.T.E. and the Chapman competitive dance team.

It’s even easier to place most of that blame on college students, the so-called lazy generation with our eyes glued to a screen instead of having our noses in a book. Statistically speaking, there is sufficient evidence that reading rates are gradually dropping off.

    “If we aren’t in a relationship by the time we’re forty, let’s just get married.” Instead of having to resort to this tired trope with someone you’re just “meh” about, a new solution for soulmate searching was just introduced: a Chapman marriage pact designed to pair students with their most compatible match based on questions about political, social, sexual and other preferences in a relationship or potential partner.

    Junior Maddie McMinn doesn’t know what she’s going to tell her family this Thanksgiving. Last year, she was hounded with questions about who she was dating and when she would bring a boyfriend home for the holidays. She didn’t have an answer for them. “The issue is they’ve been asking me every year and I still don’t have an answer,” said McMinn. It also doesn’t help that McMinn’s parents met in college. They were married by 22.

College students who want to stay fit or de-stress after a long day of classes with some guided group fitness don’t have to break the bank to do so. Chapman offers plenty of classes conveniently located at the dorms for students to enjoy for free. “I love the fact that it’s free,” said senior communication studies major Avery Grant.
