In January, second graders began writing to their pen pals at Springhill every week, and the seniors have been writing back.

The assault occurred last Tuesday at the corner of 9th and Peach Streets. Police said five teenage boys started arguing with the 23-year-old musician on an EMTA bus.

The assault occurred last Tuesday at the corner of 9th and Peach Streets. Police said five teenage boys started arguing with the 23-year-old musician on an EMTA bus. The altercation continued when they got off the bus. At that point, Deputy Chief Rick Lorah said two of the teens took off.

Charles Becker, a disabled senior living on the seventh floor, reached out to JET 24 for help after being unable to leave his apartment for five days. Calls to apartment management had gone unanswered.
