Two men pleaded not guilty at their arraignments Friday afternoon to charges in connection with a shooting that left a 35-year-old man shot dead in Lynn Thursday night, Essex District Attorney Paul Tucker’s office said. Brian Rivera, 36, and Michael Constabile, 35, were arraigned in Lynn District Court Friday afternoon, where the judge, Kareem A. Morgan, ordered Rivera to be held without bail and Constabile held on $100,000 cash bail.

Emergency crews are on the scene of a fatal single-car crash on I-91 in Holyoke, according to media reports. The crash occurred near mile marker 19 between Holyoke and Northampton on the northbound side of the highway Saturday evening, WesternMass News reported.
