    FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) - A Fall River staple has returned. The Oriental Chow Mein Company confirmed to 12 News on Thursday that it's once again making Hoo-Mee Chow Mein noodles. The manufacturer ran out of its chow mein products due to a "mechanical failure" last month and sold out of all noodles. The crispy noodles are frequently served on a hamburger bun with gravy. Some people have already taken to social media to celebrate the noodles' comeback.

    RICHMOND, R.I. (WPRI) - Two Rhode Island ponds are going to be treated for invasive aquatic plants on June 9. The R.I. Department of Environmental Management (DEM) is advising anglers and boaters to avoid Carolina Trout Pond in Richmond and Shippee Sawmill Pond in Foster that Monday. The agency said signs will be posted with temporary water use restrictions. Pets should also be kept away from the water for at least three days.
