A South Florida dog owner wants answers after he says someone shot his dog. Fitzgerald Lawrence has had his pit bull mix, Smoke, for about three years now. He says Smoke is like his son. They even share the same birthday. "I've had him since six months, he's really all I got," Lawrence said. Lawrence says he left his apartment in Miami Gardens Monday, and Smoke somehow got loose and went outside. When he came back home, he noticed blood on his dog's face.

A South Florida man wants answers after he says a piece of concrete fell from the ceiling of a Fort Lauderdale tunnel and onto his car. The debris shattered his rear window. Gary Gerbino says he was driving through the Henry E. Kinney Tunnel, or New River Tunnel, in Fort Lauderdale Tuesday when he heard a loud noise. "And then crash, immediately I didn't know what the heck happened so I turned around and I was startled, and my complete back window was crashed," Gerbino said.

A South Florida school is honoring one of its own, a 15-year-old student who died last month. Lucas Osuna, a sophomore at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, was a member of the water polo team. His coaches, teammates, the opposing school and community paused to remember his life before Belen Jesuit's water polo match Tuesday. Dozens of people wore yellow shirts with Osuna's name on the back, a swimming cap and his number, 19. Belen Jesuit won the game, scoring 19 points.

A South Florida business owner says his demolition business took a hit when someone stole one of their machines off a job site. Tony Stern, the owner of Riteway Demolition based in Fort Lauderdale, says they finished tearing down apartments on Northwest 20th Street and 3rd Avenue in Miami on Saturday. When they went to pick up their equipment on Monday, one of their machines was gone.
