At PestWorld 2024, Dr. Nina Jenkins shows off the new AprehendTrigger-Lock spray gun. Sheexplains how the upgrade helps technicians have an easier time spraying in both high and low areas. We’ve been showing our new spray gun development, so anybody that’s used Aprehend will probably be aware of this extension wand with the straps that you have to pull over the gun so that it works. We’ve got a new development. People weren’t enjoying the straps and I can understand that.

As of Oct. 1, 2024, both the “standard” and “deluxe” Aprehend sprayer kits now come standard with a new Trigger-Lock spray gun. The new Trigger-Lock allows the spray gun to be used with a continuous spray when the button is in the locked position, which is especially helpful when using the extension wand kit. The new extension wand kit will no longer require the elastic retention straps to hold down the sprayer trigger button.

Bat bugs are closely associated with their bat hosts. They rarely establish an infestation inside a home by sustaining themselves on human blood. However, they can be problematic during the spring and early summer, when bat pups are present and bat removal is prohibited. Inspect to identify incursion routes and apply a residual insecticide to intercept bat bugs as they enter the home.
