Hyderabad: With an increasing number of students now apprehensive about going to the US for master's degrees, institutes in Hyderabad, including universities, are more aggressively exploring options to tie up with colleges in countries such as Germany, Australia, and New Zealand to provide higher education opportunities to engineering students. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), for instance, recently signed a letter of intent (LOI) with state universities in Germany.

Hyderabad: Ahead of the Fact-Finding Committee (FFC) inspection by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), colleges are lining up to hire ‘temporary faculty' to meet requirements. These faculty members are being hired solely to present them to the FFC so that the colleges can secure affiliation for the next academic year. They will be dismissed soon after the inspection.
