I feel somewhat blessed to have gathered so many inanimate objects that I’ve either bought or received over time. Now that I’m nearing my forties, these things no longer bring me the same satisfaction they once did when I was younger. I’m writing this article on my Dell G16 gaming laptop, which I got last year. Yet, I treat this awesome little machine like just another computer. Even though I know there are better phones out there, I don’t feel the urge to upgrade.

Hyderabad: With the astronomical new moon slated for Saturday evening (4.27 pm IST), the crescent for Eid-ul-Fitr can be visible to the naked eye only on Sunday (March 30) in Hyderabad and other parts of the country. Eid will then most likely be on March 31. According to the moon charts for Shawwal 1446 AH (Hijri calendar), the new moon will not be visible to the naked eye or even through optical aids on Saturday anywhere in the world, except in a few parts of north and central Americas.
