June 2 (Reuters) - Shares of Schloss Bangalore, owner of luxury hotel chain "The Leela", debuted 6.7% lower on Monday, valuing the company at 137.97 billion rupees ($1.62 billion). The stock listed at 406 rupees on India's National Stock Exchange, compared to its issue price of 435 rupees. It was last down at 428 rupees.

MUMBAI, May 29 (Reuters) - The Indian rupee weakened on Thursday, weighed down by a broad rebound in the dollar after a U.S. federal court blocked most of President Donald Trump's "reciprocal tariffs" from taking effect. The rupee was at 85.5325 per U.S. dollar as of 11:30 a.m. IST, down 0.2% on the day. Asian currencies were down between 0.1% to 0.6% while the dollar index rose past the 100 handle.

MUMBAI, May 26 (Reuters) - The Indian rupee closed modestly stronger after hitting a two-week high on Monday as a turnaround in the dollar index weighed on regional peers like the Chinese yuan, which touched a seven-month peak earlier in the day. The rupee closed at 85.0.850 against the U.S. dollar, up 0.1% from its close at 85.2125 in the previous session.

MUMBAI, May 23 (Reuters) - The Indian rupee rose sharply on Friday to post its best single-day gain in more than two years as worries over U.S. fiscal health and the impact of trade tariffs continued to weigh on the dollar, sparking a rally in emerging market currencies. The rupee closed at 85.2125 against the U.S. dollar, up 0.9% on the day, its best one-day gain since November 2022.
