    CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office took multiple firearms and a large amount of narcotics off the streets recently in two separate incidents. On April 29, deputies responded to the report of a crash in the Fairview area. Stacey Cleveland Hogeland, 53, of Cullman, was identified as the driver. Alabama State Troopers also responded to the scene and allegedly determined that Hogeland was intoxicated. A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly yielded a substantial amount of narcotics.

    Alabama Strawberry Festival breaks recordsCULLMAN, Ala. — The sweet smell of fresh strawberries and festival food filled the air downtown as crowds poured into Cullman for this year’s Alabama Strawberry Festival — and by all accounts, it was the biggest and best yet. “This year’s festival was a tremendous success,” said Cullman Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Executive Director Nathan Anderson.
