AMHERST, Wis. (WSAW) - It’s officially draft week. We’re days away from the festivities in Green Bay starting on Thursday, April 24th. While there’ll be big crowds and a lot of fun in Titletown, not everyone had that same experience. Tyler Biadasz, the current starting center of the Washington Commanders, was a fourth-round selection by the Cowboys in 2020. The Amherst native was drafted in the midst of the craze and unknown provided by the COVID-19 pandemic.

WESTON, Wis. (WSAW) - The Evergreens made the most of their invite hosting gig this weekend. After opening their season with a 5-0 victory over De Pere, D.C. Everest softball continued their shutout ways with an 8-0 win over Cedarburg on Saturday. Cedarburg, however, took over Wausau West in their game prior to D.C. Everest, taking down the Warriors 12-6. With that, West will look to seek their first win in three trees after opening the season with a 3-0 defeat to Lakeland.

Students plant 8 trees across Field Club Elementary. Keep Omaha Beautiful has been teaching the students about the environment and trees since August. The course is 8 weeks long, and this project gives the students a chance to show what they have learned. BROADCAST TRANSCRIPT: Reporter Nolan Bulmahn went to Field Club Elementary School.
