    A motorcycle crash killed a 62-year-old Putnam County man this week after the motorcycle's rear tire exploded on the Thruway near New Paltz, State Police said Thursday. The rider, Martin Muller of Mahopac, was thrown from his 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle after the motorcycle's rear tire blew out shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday, police said in a statement. The force caused the bike to turn sideways and roll in the left lane until it came to a stop, officials said.
