A supplementary analysis was conducted of baseline, 12 months, and 24 months data from the FNIH Biomarkers Consortium within the OAI. All 600 participants from the FNIH Biomarkers Consortium OA sample were included in this analysis. This is a case–control design study population, which consists of OA progressors (clinical and radiographic progressors combined), clinical-only progressors, radiographic-only progressors, and non-progressors.
