    VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) — A 30-year-old man died Saturday evening after fleeing the scene of a solo-vehicle crash near the intersection of North Santa Fe Avenue and North Paseo Marguerita in Vista, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Office. Vista Sheriff's Station deputies responded to the crash at about 6:01 p.m. yesterday. The San Diego Sheriff's Office said the driver failed to navigate a right turn in his sedan and struck a tree. The driver then exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.

    Posted and last updated SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One person died in a five-vehicle traffic collision at around 8:52 a.m. this morning, according to the San Diego Fire Department. Four others were transported to nearby hospitals for injuries. The accident happened on the I-805 freeway near the Palm Avenue exit. California Highway Patrol officers said all lanes on the southbound 805 north of 43rd Street were blocked due to the collision.

    SAN MARCOS, Calif. (KGTV) — A person was found deceased inside a San Marcos apartment yesterday, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Office (SDSO). Deputies from the San Marcos Patrol Station responded to the call around 3:00 p.m. at 1000 Armorlite Dr. They did not immediately see any signs of trauma to the individual, according to SDSO. The Sheriff's Homicide Unit is currently investigating due to the suspicious nature of the incident.
