    The University Student Union Games Room hosts a variety of consoles, PC’s and games that students can enjoy in between classes. Throughout November, the room introduced two new additions to play with, pinball machines. Every Tuesday throughout the month, students had the chance to learn about pinball and play on the machines for free, which culminated in the Flippers and Fun Mixer on Nov. 26.

    After the 2024 election, the CSUN Pride Center, alongside the Student Union DREAM Center and Veterans Resource Center, hosted Days After: A Community Dialogue. The departments collaborated to support students and provide them with a safe space to share their emotions surrounding the election’s outcome. The event took place on Thursday, Nov. 7. Students gathered at the USU Pride Center to find peace and community amidst what many considered a challenging time.

    Amazon Prime Video’s Like A Dragon: Yakuza may share a title with the popular video game series, but the adaption feels unfamiliar to fans. Through the six episodes that this action-crime drama unfolds, almost none of it feels in the spirit of Yakuza. From the very first episode, fans of the series will recognize that this is a very different portrayal of the Dragon of Dojima.
