Shreveport - The Centenary gymnastics team recorded a season-high 192.175 team score on Saturday evening versus the Fisk University Bulldogs in a non-conference dual meet to finish second on Senior Night inside the Gold Dome. Fisk won the meet with a team score of 193.025 to edge Centenary in a competitive meet as the Ladies honored their 2025 senior class - Emma Lavelle (Mandeville, La.), Sophie Schmitz (Trophy Club, Texas), and Mylia Vidtor (The Colony, Texas).

Greenwood, Ind. – Six Centenary gymnasts were named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large team, selected by College Sports Communicators, on Tuesday. Senior Kendall Huff (Riviera, Texas), junior Emma Lavelle (Mandeville, La.), senior Izzie Plaza (San Antonio, Texas), sophomore Sophie Schmitz (Trophy Club, Texas), Sophomore Olivia Stratmann (Houston, Texas), and senior Lacey Wedge (Belle Chasse, La.) each earned a spot on the prestigious team.

Hello Lady’s Gymnastics Fans!! It's senior Roxanne Myers here with this week's gymtalk. This week was a big week for the ladies as it was our home opener of the 2024 season. We started the week out a little rocky due to some snow that left all the roads and sidewalks super icy. Unfortunately, we were unable to make the drive to Jills to practice, but that didn’t stop us from (slowly and carefully) walking over to the Fit to get in a productive team workout.

What’s up Ladies Gymnastics fans!! It’s senior Rylie Molina here with this week’s gym talk. The Ladies were very busy this week preparing for their very first meet of the 2024 season!! Not only was it the first meet of the season, but it was also the Ladies first day of the spring semester. All the Ladies are so smart, and we can’t wait to have an amazing semester. Thursday, we traveled to Cape Girardeau, Missouri to compete against Southeastern Missouri in their home opener.

Hey Ladies Gymnastics Fans!!!!It's senior Roxanne Myers here, reporting this week's recap for your favorite ladies. It's still early in the semester but the ladies ARE ON FIRE! We made it through a full week of classes, practice, and workouts and we are THRIVING. On Sunday, we set a goal on bars for all single-bar releases, and not only did we complete the goal, but we far surpassed it. The energy in the gym was untouchable, and nothing was stopping us from achieving what we set out to achieve.
