The recent trailer for Dear Santa drew a brief negative reaction this past month before completely disappearing. Curiously, the film quietly dropped on Paramount+ over Thanksgiving week without fanfare and a mere handful of reviews, leaving no real splash in the busy holiday season. It’s not hard to see why. Despite being written and directed by Dumb And Dumber, Fever Pitch, and There’s Something About Mary veterans Peter and Bobby Farrelly, it didn’t warrant much response.

Since I’ve been getting negative comments of late for reviewing allegedly grotesque, harmful content, it doesn’t seem like adding more wood to that fire will hurt me much. I respect my fellow Christians who have strict viewership requirements on what they like to expose themselves to and abide by lesser restrictions myself. Everyone must know what their limits are, and shows like South Park do not personally push me away from my convictions.
