As I recently wrote in a piece for The Federalist, the faith-based film market is in a curious position. The age of films like God’s Not Dead, Fireproof, and Heaven Is for Real has slowly mutated into a more superficially dark genre, headlined by more controversially partisan films like The Sound of Freedom, Nefarious, and Lady Ballers. Considering his father Jerry Jenkins was already world-renowned as the author of the Left Behind books, he’s done a remarkable job making a name for himself.
