For the third straight year, Reliant, a retail electricity provider, is partnering with the city for its annual Beat the Heat initiative.     Tyson Foods will transfer operations of its Fort Worth South Distribution Center to Lineage Logistics, placing 275 workers in a state of transition and uncertainty. In a letter to the Texas Workforce Commission and Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker, Tyson confirmed it completed a transaction with Lineage involving the warehouse facility at 8200 S. Will Rogers Blvd. Tyson said it plans to employ all team members at the location through a transition period, which is expected to end on or around Aug. 15.

On June 14, Fort Worth will officially open the Betsy Price Community Center, a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a gathering space, fitness hub and learning center for families.
