    Hong Kong police have arrested eight individuals in connection to the sale of counterfeit concert tickets resulting in losses of HK$650,000 (£61,600/$82,800/€72,200). Officers went undercover to pose as buyers and make the arrests of five men and three women between the ages of 20 and 44. A total of 52 counterfeit tickets were seized, with 40 of them found in possession of the criminals, collectively valued at around HK$100,000.

    The Manchester United Supporters Trust has described the club’s recent price rises as a “fresh kick in the teeth for fans” after match categorisation was introduced for the first time. The fan group states that for almost all Premier League games next season, the cost of the cheapest seat available to members will increase by 50%. Around 20,000 people per match will be affected by the game-by-game price changes which split fixtures into four different categories.

A total of 60,927 fans were in attendance for the tournament opener on June 14 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium after FIFA slashed ticket prices. A day later, 80,619 watched Paris Saint-Germain take on Atletico Madrid at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles.
