One of the men accused in last summer's drive-by homicide on Dove Drive now faces six charges, including first-degree murder, after a new indictment was filed last month. Damarkus Williams, 19, pleaded not guilty Monday to the additional charges, which were filed Nov. 1.

The Columbia Public Library reopened at 9 a.m. Saturday after a fire in an air handler caused it to close Thursday. The library briefly opened Friday morning but closed at noon to further treat the air on one side of the building. On social media, the library stated that the air quality was fine throughout the building and that the public areas of the library are covered by a separate air handler from the one that caught on fire.

In September, Blueitt was found not guilty of killing Aaron Badolato two years ago after they fought over a motorcycle Blueitt claimed he had stolen. The victim was also involved in a relationship with Blueitt's former girlfriend.
