Adoption of generative AI tools and large language models (LLMs) since OpenAI introduced its ChatGPT chatbot in late November 2022 has only accelerated, reaching deep into organizations of all shapes, sizes, and sectors, and software developers have not been immune to the siren call.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) helps DevOps, ITOps and other engineers manage data, applications and infrastructure in dynamic IT environments with increasing scale, complexity and diversity. With a GitOps-driven workflow, engineers can bring much-needed standardization, security and operational consistency across diverse environments. With the release of Chrome version M121, Google intends to make browsing not only easier but also more personalized using the latest machine learning and AI techniques. Microsoft introduced integration between its Edge browser and AI-powered Bing search engine last year for this same purpose.

A function is a reusable bit of code that can execute a specific functionality any time it is called within a program. Functions are a great way to make your code more efficient and also to create blocks of code that can be used from one program to another (as long as they fit the purpose of the app in question). Of course, Python has several built-in functions, such as print(), zip(), map(), eval(), float() and many more.
