1 Introduction Lung Cancer (LC) is the leading cause of cancer mortality worldwide, and the most recent data derived from Global Cancer Observatory 2022 has shown a significant increase in both global incidence and mortality of LC [1]. Over 2.4 million new LC cases and more than 1.8 million deaths were recorded in 2022.
