A group of area landowners is behind the lawsuit. In Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota, reports of scams claiming to be the DMV have been making the rounds. (Dakota News Now) - This week, the Department of Criminal Investigation announced they were looking into assaults in the South Dakota State Penitentiary and the Department of Corrections announced they busted a drug smuggling ring. All this added to ongoing concerns about what goes on inside prison walls. In the last week alone, protests for better inmate treatment in response to inmate deaths and a prayer walk took place.

Jason and Angela White began their cross-country motorcycle ride as a way to raise funds for the Suicide and Trauma Reduction Initiative for Veterans (STRIVE), a non-profit that focuses on research and saving lives. It’s a mission that hits close to home and it keeps them going.

It wasn’t a normal Sunday morning for Hosanna Lutheran Church. The Watertown Event Center housed the church before their own building went up in 2016. They were back at the event center on Sunday, but not by choice. The rarest of rare occurrences struck their building Monday.
