OAKLAND - As district meets draw closer, teams from across Eastern and Northeast Nebraska hit the track in Oakland for their final regular season invite yesterday. The host Knights were able to grab first place on the boys side with 113 pointss, while the Pender girls captured the title with 97 points. Both Homer boys and girls squads finished as runners-up with 90 and 77 points respectively. Total team scores and top three finishes for each individual events/top two for relays are listed below.

NORFOLK - Seven teams from across the region made the trip to Norfolk yesterday for the Norfolk Catholic Invite on what ended up being a warm afternoon day. The host Knights were able to defend the home track, taking both team titles with 111 points on the boys side and 129 on the girls side. Runner-up finishes went to the O'Neill boys (95 points) and Pierce girls (114 points) respectively.

LAUREL - With district track set for next week, teams from across Northeast Nebraska got to sharpen their skills one last time against different competition at the Winside-Jim Winch Invitational in Laurel. While Winside was the host, it was the Wolfpack of Tri County Northeast capturing the boys team title with 118 points and the girls team title with 152 points. Wausa finsihed as runner-up for both the boys and girls with 115 and 120 points respectively.

HUMPHREY- Nine teams from acroos Northeast Nebraska made the trip to Humphrey yesterday for their home Invite. It was the Elkhorn Valley girls picking up another team title, winning the invite with 131 points, while Archangels Catholic was runners-up with 113 points. On the boys side, Central Valley took the top spot with 126.5 points, followed by Elkhorn Valley at 111 points. Total team scores and top three finishes for each individual events/top two for relays are listed below.
