ATKINSON - Eight teams from across Northeast and North Central Nebraska met up in Atkinson yesterday for the West Holt Invite. It was the host Huskies taking the top spot on the girls side with 133.67 points, while Battle Creek finished as runners-up with 118.33 points. On the boys side, the Braves picked up their fourth meet win on the season, dominating the compeition with 165 points, while the Huskies were runners-up with 107 points.

PIERCE - Wet and rainy weather gave way to cool conditions yesterday afternoon as twelve teams from across Northeast Nebraska made the trip to Pierce for the annual Tom Martin Memorial Pierce/Wausa InviteThe host Bluejays ran away with the team title on the girls side, scoring 116 points in the process, while Norfolk Catholic edged Stanton for the runner-up spot with 69 points. The Mustangs finished with 67.
