From August 26-30, 2024, Earthworks accompanied Mexican not-for-profit organizations CEMDA (Mexican Environmental Law Center) and Conexiones Climáticas on a visit to communities affected by an ever expanding oil and gas infrastructure in Campeche and Tabasco, in the Gulf of Mexico. The OGI images captured during the recent visit to the region show a great deal of air pollution from the broad array of interconnected infrastructure.

De 26-30 de agosto de 2024, Earthworks acompañó a las organizaciones sin fines de lucro CEMDA (Centro Mexicano de Derecho Ambiental) y Conexiones Climáticas en una visita a comunidades afectadas por la infraestructura de petróleo y gas siempre en expansión en Campeche y Tabasco en el Golfo de México. Las imágenes de OGI que fueron filmadas durante la visita a la región muestran una gran cantidad de contaminación del aire desde una variedad de infraestructura interconectada.
