PHOENIX — Phoenix Union High School District is celebrating a handful of graduates who have been awarded millions of dollars in scholarships because of their hard work. Three Trevor G. Browne High School students were awarded more than $2 million in scholarships each. Three other students, two from Maryvale High School and one from Trevor G. Browne, were each awarded scholarships of more than $1 million.

PHOENIX — Adi Singh has been practicing Kundalini Yoga for more than 40 years! At Kundalini PHX, Singh and other yogis hold completely free classes several times a week. Since COVID, Singh has also hosted outdoor yoga sessions to help himself and others deal with stress. In his 70s, Singh can be found at Coronado area parks almost every day of the year holding classes that are donation only.

Rosalie's Place provides temporary living and working opportunities for adults looking to make their way away from homelessness. The St. Vincent de Paul facility in Phoenix has 71 beds and offers support with financial planning, resume writing, skills coaching, job training, and permanent housing searching. One person who is benefiting from his experience at Rosalie's Place is George. ABC15's Patricio Espinoza is sharing George's personal story of struggle to a new road of success.

PHOENIX — Marco Zepeda, a legally blind man who has been working to support his family by selling merchandise on the streets of Phoenix for years, is now fighting possibly his toughest battle yet: terminal cancer.
