    The Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has called for the  immediate arrest and prosecution of the President of Neo Black Movement (NBM) of Africa, Olorogun Ese Kakor, over alleged forgery of official State government documents. Okpebholo disclosed this in a petition he addressed to the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Oluwatosin Ajayi.

    Edo state governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has said his administration would soon commence the development of a Divisional Police Station on the parcel of land where a demolished cult-linked structure once stood. The governor stated that the permanent security presence will serve as a deterrent and protect law-abiding citizens and resident.     A Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) cable beneath a flooded road has reportedly electrocuted a 32-year-old woman and her baby to death at the Oregbeni area of Benin City, the Edo state capital. The woman, identified as Sarah David, was said to have her baby strapped on her back when the tragedy occurred. Blueprint gathered that the victim was walking through a flooded road in the area after a heavy downpour, when she stepped on a live electricity cable.
