A new 120-capacity nightclub has opened in Peckham, South London, called HONOR. The venue is underneath Peckham Rye station inside an arch next to Peckham Riviera, which is running the new space in collaboration with DJ Oneman. Flint died by suicide on 2019 at the age of 49. His passing was met with an outpouring of respects from across the music world, including from Skrillex, Andy C, Charlotte de Witte and Elton John. The Prodigy were headlining the Mojave tent, with original members Liam Howlett and Maxim leading the 14-track set, which opened with 1996’s UK Number One hit ‘Breathe’. The full set is viewable on Coachella’s YouTube channel, which is looping rolling streams of the first’s first weekend.

Paris club Essaim has announced the opening of a concert venue within its walls called Main Room. It will be open on weekdays and be equipped with a setup tailored towards live performances. The 350-capacity space opens on May 21 with a debut event headlined by Canblaster of the Club Cheval collective. Performing his three-act album ‘LIBEROSIS’.

Another place in Atlanta that Ash credits with shifting her “trajectory as an artist and DJ” is Karl’s much-loved venue, The Sound Table. In fact, of all the people I spoke to about nightlife in Atlanta, not one failed to mention The Sound Table. Located on Edgewood Avenue, this restaurant-cum-nightclub (a popular formula for venues in Atlanta) was run by Karl and his wife, Muona Essa. “I once went to a little venue called The Room in Tokyo,” Karl tells me of how The Sound Table came to be.
