    Former Cal offensive lineman Jake Curhan has agreed to a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals at the league minimum salary, according to Jeremey Fowler of ESPN and Phoenix radio host John Gambadoro. Curhan has four years of NFL experience, and the minimum salary for players with four-to-six years of experience is $1.17 million. Curhan had signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears last March, and he played in 10 games, including two starts for the Bears in 2024.

    Former Cal punter Bryan Anger will return to the Dallas Cowboys for another season after he agreed to a two-year, $6.4 million free-agent deal with the Cowboys on Tuesday, according to Mike Klis of 9News. It appears the 36-year-old Anger plans to spend at least two more years in the NFL. Anger spent the past four seasons with Dallas, and he was named to the Pro Bowl in both 2021 and 2023. He averaged 51.4 yards per punt in 2023 and 48.5 yards this past season.

    Former Cal safety Ashtyn Davis agreed to an interesting free-agent deal to join the Miami Dolphins after spending his first five NFL seasons with the Jets. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Davis agreed to a one-year $2.5 million deal that could take it to $3 million with incentives. It is speculated that the incentives may be based on availability since Injuries have affected Davis’ playing time during his NFL career.
