LONG BEACH, Calif. (April 14, 2025) – The 50th Anniversary Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach is complete, and the event’s upward trend in attendance continued. According to Grand Prix Association of Long Beach President & CEO Jim Michaelian, reports indicate that the weekend resulted in an attendance figure of just over 200,000, which is a record for the modern era (since the 2008 INDYCAR – Champ Car series merger).

We live in fancy times. Flying home from @IndyCar at Milwaukee, watching Darlington, doing some @tracksideonline work, a little for the real job, and all with the seat next to me empty. To think I used to wait for Speed Sport to show up to learn what happened last week.
Australia and Oregon are quite different. But Aussie drivers won a lot of Oregon hardware last couple days. @12WillPower wins @IndyCar @Race_Portland. @JamesMcFadden25 wins the @HighLimitRacing race at Douglas County. Also @HughesLochie won @USFProChamps 2000 title at PIR
