A British GP has advised people to get checked if they can hear a “heartbeat” sound in their ears. The condition is known as Pulsatile Tinnitus (PT) and leads to people hearing a whooshing sensation, similar to that of a heartbeat. Some of those who suffer from it may find the condition slightly annoying, while others have described it as “intense and debilitating.” The condition is usually linked to other health conditions such as high blood pressure or an overactive thyroid.

Being a teenager was a complicated time for us all, but it was also the era that had the best teen movies. I know we all want to seem cool and watch all the Oscar-nominated movies and documentaries, but as a twenty-something teenager, I’d sooner watch ‘Wild Child’ or ‘The Princess Diaries’. The movies that shaped us as teenagers will always hold a special place in our hearts. They’re the greatest comfort and a huge source of nostalgia for many women.

‘Outer Banks’ has swiftly become one of my favourite shows in recent years. Friends have been telling me to watch the mystery thriller for years, but I finally started watching the show during winter. I had to stop watching ‘Gilmore Girls’ over and over again, so opted for ‘Outer Banks’. It’s a far cry from Stars Hollow, but it’s one of my favourite Netflix series. I flew through all three seasons and I’m now extremely disappointed that I’ve run out of episodes to watch.
