Bpost again relied on its new logistics subsidiary Staci for growth last quarter amid flat parcels trends and lower mail profits, and will continue to focus strongly on its ongoing “deep” strategic transformation this year. The Belgian postal group increased revenues by +12.7% (+€125.9 m) to €1,119 million in the January – March 2025 quarter, with Staci, which it acquired for €1.3 billion last year, contributing €199 million to the total.

European second-hand marketplace Vinted Group has reported a surge in profitability for 2024, backed by strong revenue growth, continued geographic expansion, and rising demand for sustainable shopping. The Vilnius-headquartered company posted consolidated revenue of €813.4 million last year, up 36% from €596.3 million in 2023. Net profit jumped an impressive 330% to €76.7 million, while adjusted EBITDA reached €158.9 million, more than doubling from €76.6 million the previous year.

Royal Mail has launched a trial of its first-ever electric trucks as part of its drive to decarbonise its delivery fleet, in collaboration with British electric vehicle specialist Magtec. The initiative, backed by an £800,000 grant from government innovation agency, Innovate UK, supports Royal Mail’s ambition to expand the UK’s largest electric delivery fleet and reach net zero emissions by 2040.

Poste Italiane has sped into 2025 with record profitable growth driven by improved results in all divisions, including its expanding parcels business. The group’s adjusted operating profit rose by +12.8% to €796 million in the first three months of this year, with revenues up by +5% to €3.2 billion and thus outpacing a +4.6 rise in operating costs. Net profit improved by 19% to €597 million.
