A suspect has been arrested in a fatal shooting two weeks ago in a casino parking lot in the west Las Vegas Valley. Salvador Delgadillo, 37, was taken into custody Monday and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of open murder, the Metropolitan Police Department said Tuesday.

The current Sphere residents aren’t ready to take it easy just yet. The Eagles announced four new dates Tuesday for their residency at the famous Las Vegas venue. The new shows are slated for Sept. 5, 6, 12 and 13. This brings the band’s total to 36 shows. The artist’s presale for the new shows begins Tuesday at 10 a.m. at eagles.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting March 28. The Eagles are also reportedly working on a Sphere concert film.

You could call it an extended weekend for The Weeknd. The pop and R&B superstar announced a second Las Vegas date for his After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour at Allegiant Stadium. The new show is set for July 4 and is addition to his previously announced concert July 5. Special hotel and experience packages for the latest show are available now at theweeknd.vibee.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday at ticketmaster.com. The Weeknd is no stranger to Las Vegas.

The Nevada Highway Patrol identified the motorcyclist who died in a crash involving a street sweeper Sunday night. The motorcycle rider, 18-year-old Dwayne Demetrius Wade, of Las Vegas, died in the crash on the 215 Beltway northbound, just west of Jones Boulevard, the Highway Patrol said Friday. The preliminary investigation indicates that a black 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R motorcycle was traveling east on the Beltway at a high rate of speed, according to the Highway Patrol.

Bishop Gorman High School has a new addition to its Summerlin campus. Bishop Gregory W. Gordon, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas, presided at a ceremony Monday to bless the Roman Catholic school’s new Gaughan Family Student Union. The two-story, 40,000-square-foot building includes a broadcast media center that will serve as the home of the student-run broadcast BGTV.
