    HUDSPETH COUNTY, Texas (KVIA) -- Members of the Texas Rangers are teaming up with the Hudspeth County Sheriff's Office to investigate an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon case, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson. The spokesperson said it took place on May 22 in West Hudspeth County. One person is in custody, and there is no ongoing threat to the community. Officials say the investigation is still active.

    EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- At least one person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash in West El Paso early Saturday morning. The El Paso Fire Department said it happened just after 2 a.m. on the 1300 block of Rim Rd. between the Billy Rogers Arroyo and Tom Lea Lower Park. One person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries and another person refused transport. No word yet on what caused the crash. Stay tuned to KVIA on air and online for updates.

    EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- One person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in Far East El Paso late Friday night. It happened on the 1700 block of Dana Michelle St, not far from the El Paseo Marketplace. Officials with the El Paso Fire Department said El Paso Police officers requested Emergency Medical Services at 11:09 p.m. Friday. An EPPD police spokesperson says the Crimes Against Persons unit is on scene.
