YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – We are pushing through May, and many have already planted their garden or put flowers in across the area. There is a chance for frost this week, and many plants are in the range of their growth that a heavy frost could create a problem. We are getting closer to the end of frost season. On average, the last frost in Youngstown is on May 18. What is the best way to protect my plant from frost?

(WKBN) – We are pushing into the heart of pollen season. This is the season for runny noses, sneezing, headaches and even sinus infections due to a reaction to pollen. Tree pollen is at its pushing toward it’s peak and the grass pollens will increase rapidly as the spring growth expands with the warmer temperatures in the coming weeks. This results in many being impacted if they suffer allergy reactions from pollen. See if the weather will stay warm with the 7 Day Forecast.
