    The last scam case that I am going to relate to you is that of Martha, Case No. 3. Martha had been a victim of dementia, and, at the age of about 70, found that she could no longer live alone, so she moved into an assisted care facility. Martha was single and had never been married. The only relatives that I knew of her having were a brother and two nephews. As in the cases of my two prior articles, this person had been a client of mine for tax and financial services.
