AbstractIn this study, a method for predicting the thermal shock life of coatings is proposed, and a model for predicting the thermal shock life of coatings based on high temperature thermal shock life test and three-dimensional heat transfer analysis is established. Firstly, the thermal shock life of coatings at different cooling and heating cycle temperatures is obtained through a designed thermal shock life testing device for silicide coatings at a wide-temperature range from 500℃ to 3000℃.

1. IntroductionG protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) represent one of the most significant and diverse families of membrane receptors in the biomedical field, encompassing over 800 members that play critical roles in various physiological and pharmacological processes [1,2,3]. Among these, adhesion GPCRs (aGPCRs) form a unique subset characterized by unique structural domains and a wide range of physiological functions [4,5,6].

AbstractHistamine is a biogenic amine that is critical in various physiological and pathophysiological processes, including but not limited to allergic reactions, wakefulness, gastric acid secretion and neurotransmission. Here, we determine 9 cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) structures of the 4 histamine receptors in complex with four different G protein subtypes, with endogenous or synthetic agonists bound.

Solar-to-thermal conversion is a direct and effective way to absorb sunlight for heat via the rational design and control of photothermal materials. However, when exposed to water-existed conditions, the conventional solar-to-thermal performance may experience severe degradation owing to the high specific heat capacity of water.
