    The company behind a massive and controversial solar project proposed for Linn County will have an extra year to seek approval. Hanwha Q Cells USA Corp. of Irvine, an American subsidiary of a South Korean concern, first filed what's called a "notice of intent" with the state to build the Muddy Creek Energy Park on 1,588 acres of farmland east of Junction City and southwest of Brownsville in 2023. But after , there's been little said publicly about the project's progress.
