Hanne Thomsen, a Stanford-bound senior at Santa Rosa Montgomery High, won her second career girls 3,200-meter title in a lifetime-best 9:48.98 at the CIF State Track and Field Championships at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High in Clovis, Calif. Thomsen, who also captured the 3,200 state crown as a freshman in 2022 in 10:06.89, elevated to the No. 3 all-time prep competitor in California.
