Written and performed by Kris Andersson (Dixie Longgate is a stage name) and directed by Patrick Richwood, the comedy runs through April 20 at The Gordy at Stages.

    The year 2025 hasn't been a great one for alleged "blockbusters" at the box office. Captain America: Brave New World was supposed to mark the MCU's triumphant return, and while it made a profit you could still charitably call it "underwhelming." Others, like Wolf Man, Mickey 17, and the live-action Snow White remake have underperformed, if not been outright duds. The news is better for smaller movies like Black Bag, One of Them Days and The Monkey, which have done much better for themselves.
