Spoilers for Doctor Who: "The Reality War"Well, this season finale pulled all the brakes off the train and aimed it over a canyon. I barely know where to begin. In case you're somehow still avoiding story spoilers, here's my weekly bit of trivia that is possibly extremely relevant. Photo by Julia Bywater Since she joined her sister Ann in the already-existing band Heart back in 1974, Nancy Wilson has played every kind of show: openers, headliners, multi-act bills, festivals, guest appearances, as a duo, and one-offs. Good God, Nadine's, 33 Waugh, opened May 27. Part cocktail lounge, part Southern eatery, it's bringing all the vibes of a spirited garden party with a little irreverence throw in for fun. It comes from Billy Trainor and Kyle Wiebe, owners of Verdegreens Farms. Inspired by the eccentric aunt that every Southern family seems to have, the ambiance is welcoming and unpretentious, where the door is always open and the drinks are always full.

For decades, at the Division 1-A level, college football viewed the word "playoff" as a four letter word. For damn near the entire 20th century, the national champion was voted on by sportswriters and coaches, not decided on the field. Finally, in the mid '90s, the powers that be agreed to a format that gave us a two-team title game. Getting to that stage was monumental. From there, it took another two decades to get a four team playoff, and from there another decade to expand to a 12-team playoff.

Well, at least the rocket got a little farther up this time. Down at Starbase, Elon Musk’s SpaceX base – and bonified municipality, as of earlier this month – on the edge of the South Texas Coast, Starship, the largest, most powerful rocket ever created, lifted off at 6:36 p.m. Tuesday. The launch was smooth, uneventful and on time. As the next few minutes unfolded, all 33 raptor engines lit on Super Heavy, the booster.

Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentlemen 713 Music Hall May 27, 2025 Mama left me, I was young Daddy left me, too damn young It's understandable that some people thought Ryan Bingham was playing a part when he hit the scene with songs like "Sunrise" and "Southside of Heaven" Singing I've been lost on them back roads / So many times, I've gone blind like Tom Waits on a bourbon jag at the age of 26 naturally raised a few eyebrows.
