A PRIEST connect to the family of Emile Soleil has allegedly committed suicide and left a chilling warning before the boy's grandparents were arrested on Tuesday. Another shocking twist has hit this case after Father Claude Gilliot, who baptised the two-year-old, reportedly left a suicide note. The two-year-old vanished in 2023 from a holiday home in France. Grandparents Philippe and Anne Vedovini, both 59, were arrested at dawn on Tuesday, after the police raided their home near Marseilles.

THE grandparents of a French boy found dead in the Alps have been arrested on suspicion of murdering him and hiding his corpse. Philippe and Anne Vedovini, both 59, were taken into custody along with two of their adult children, in connection with the alleged killing of Émile Soleil. The two-year-old was staying at the Vedovinis’ isolated holiday home in Haut-Vernet, south of Grenoble, when he went missing in July 2023.

BILLIONAIRE businessman Paddy McKillen was today convicted of attacking a petite woman bailiff in his €30million Paris apartment. The 70-year-old tycoon, who owns a whisky distillery in Ireland with U2 frontman Bono, was not in court in the French capital on Wednesday as judgement was handed down against him. He was fined €10,000 for "violence against public official" Anna Cohen-Bacri, 33, and ordered to pay her a total of €1500 in damages and costs.
