Tobias Myers pitched well and still allowed six hits. I released over 3.5 hits (-135), but by the time I finished the writeup, the line had moved out of range. I did recommend over 4.5 hits at a plus number, but that also moved a ton. Knowing that, I posted that this pick wouldn’t count towards my record. However, he ended with six hits. I wouldn’t have counted it if he finished with four or even five hits. After he landed on six, I thought I should put it to a vote.

The White Sox!!What a win! Things looked bleak early as the Astros took a 4-0 lead after Bryse Wilson went way longer than I thought he would. Luckily, the White Sox mounted a comeback and grabbed a 5-4 lead. Then, rain came down, and they called the game early, so we didn’t have to sweat the White Sox bullpen any further. White Sox ML (+180) was a massive success. Today, we have to lay some juice, but I believe it will be worth it.

I LOVE THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS!We are 3-0 betting on them this year, all as big underdogs. Brad Lord spun an excellent performance, and while it took a bit to get going, the offense eventually beat up Taijian Walker. The bullpen was clean, and we won the game with relative ease at +158. What a way to start the month. Today, I have two picks that are bigger underdogs than the Nationals were yesterday. One is a player prop, and the other is a moneyline wager that will gross you out.

So close to a sweep!We cashed the Orioles’ First 5 Innings ML (-105) without much of a sweat. The Orioles did go down 2-0 early after an Aaron Judge home run, but they put up a four-spot in the second inning, and that was all they needed to bring home the win. They scored another run in the bottom of the fifth, so even if the Yankees tied it, we would have won. On the flip side, we got screwed on Landen Roupp over 4.5 strikeouts (+110).

Gunnar saved us from disaster. Carlos Rodon dominated, throwing five perfect innings. However, he still ended up allowing two earned runs, and if the game hadn’t been such a blowout, he would have continued. Regardless, I’ll hold the fat loss on Carlos Rodon over 2.5 earned runs (+125). We did get the Henderson vs. Rodon matchup, and Gunnar hit two balls over 90 MPH, including a home run in his third at-bat. It was good to see that read come to fruition, but it was still a small losing day.

Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good!Nationals ML (+130) was one of the luckiest bets of my life. They were down 7-1 going into the seventh inning and came back to win 8-7. They won on a bad throw from Pete Alonso, which allowed Abrams to score the winning run. I couldn’t believe what I was watching, but we’ll take it!However, we did lose horribly on the Rockies. They got dominated by Nick Lodolo, so it didn’t even matter that the Rockies scratched Feltner in favor of Blalock.

We went to battle against Tomoyuki Sugano and came out victorious. The bet hit so quickly, you may have missed it. James Wood led off the game with a home run, and then in that same inning, Josh Bell hit a two-run shot. We took Sugano Over 2.5 earned runs at +100, and it hit before the first inning ended. Today, we are backing a sizeable underdog and picking up the scraps on a pitcher that’s been left for dead. On Fridays, we have to be disgusting if we want to win.
