Brody Sneed has been on a tear to start the golf season, having shot a 9-hole 33 in an April 8 triangular and then leading St. Albert to the Small Schools Division team title in Shenandoah this Tuesday. “He's pretty much a complete player, very confident,” St. Albert head coach Mike Klusman said.

AHSTW’s Luke Sternberg was a multi-event individual winner at Thursday’s storm-shortened 9th Annual Council Bluffs Boys Track & Field Invitational, while Lewis Central’s Braeden Dahlheim and Carter Lobaugh commanded the hurdles. Griswold eked by Logan-Magnolia for the team title at Tri-Center’s boys track & field invitational, while St. Albert’s Jayden Beckman and Parker Heisterkamp were individual winners. St. Albert put in a strong showing in the 4x800 relay, 1,600 meters and the throws at Tuesday’s Tri-Center Boys Invitational in Neola. The Falcons won the 4x800 in 8:43.45, nearly 30 seconds faster than AHSTW in second place. Beckman also won the shot put (48-foot-2.5) and threw 135-foot-10 to finish second in discus.

St. Albert got two first-half goals and a brace from Kyle Irwin to cruise to a 4-0 win over Kuemper Catholic at Morrison Stadium in the Kicks for a Cure. But it wasn’t perfect for Falcons head coach Todd Tarbox. “We could have put a lot more in,” he said. “I think we just couldn't quite find that net, (Kuemper’s) keeper made some good saves, though, so credit to him.
