    I cannot believe it is December already! For our trip down memory lane this month, I thought I would avoid the obvious and instead look at a largely forgotten anniversary – 80 years ago, in December 1944, the Home Guard was formally disbanded. In the museum we have a large amount of WW2 memorabilia from the local area, and in particular material, from several residents who served in local Home Guard units.
